Victorian Pearl 5 Stone 18ct Gold Gypsy Ring

A substantial solid 18ct gold gypsy ring set with five pearls. Circa 1890 and English in origin. The white pearls contrast beautifully against the buttery gold. It’s unusual to find pearl examples which have survived in such good condition, making this a rare find.

The band tapers from 3mm at the back to 7mm at its widest point at the front.

Nice clean condition. One pearl is rubbed - zoomed photo included. Slightly oval shape of the ring suggests a previous resizing. Pearls are secure in the setting - untested for natural or cultured origin.
