Victorian French M initial Enamel Ring

A really nice example of an initial ring.

Displaying the letter M in a richly coloured enamel surround. Beautiful detailed shoulders to the band showcase quality craftsmanship. Estimated to be Victorian in age. 

This ring is French in origin and displays the eagle assay mark on the outer band for 18ct gold. There is also a hallmark/makers mark to the inner of the band which I currently can not decipher.

Condition - sadly this ring is missing many of the tiny Rose cut diamonds that would have been set into the M. The enamel has a couple of light scratches (please see the unedited pictures) This has been reflected in the price. The ring has evidence of resizing to the band.
