Rev Matthew Thomas 1812 Mourning Band

A beautiful mourning ring dating to 1812.

The 22ct gold band reads “Revd Matthew W. Thomas OB 29 July 1812 AE67”.

The white enamel signifies that the person had died unmarried.

Fully Hallmarked. MG makers mark. 

The band is 8mm wide.

Loveley clean condition. The band is ever so slightly off round. We had a small amount of the enamel touched up by a professional hard enameller and the result is that the enamel is in pristine condition.
