Reserved Platinum Sapphire and Diamond Dress Ring

An elegant sapphire and diamond ring in the Art Deco style. This piece would make a perfect engagement or cocktail ring, it’s beautifully proportioned and looks stunning on hand. The deep blue sapphire is flanked by 6 baguette cut diamonds in the shoulders of the ring. The sapphire is awaiting certification and has been assessed as a natural non heated example believed to be Madagascan in origin. The sapphire displays beautiful natural inclusions which are visible in certain lights.

Materials: 14ct gold. 585 mark and also tested. Makers mark (believed to say AEK) and a further assay mark. 

Size: UK J 1/2, US 5. Sizeable within reason. 

Gemstones: 10 x 7mm sapphire (approximately 3.5 carats). Verbally assessed as a natural unheated example - certificate pending. The sapphire displays very angular natural silk inclusions. There are two stripes across the centre and also some colour zoning / silky cloudiness is visible in one corner of the sapphire in certain lights and angles. Total diamond weight estimated at 1.10 carats. Natural diamonds assessed as G/H colours and VS clarities.
