Georgian Sentimental French Hairwork Ring

A charming Georgian French ring, its glazed panel protecting a delicate arrangement of hairwork - a tender keepsake from another age. On the reverse, the initials JJF remain as a clue of its original owner, while the wonderfully preserved bevelled glass catches the light with quiet elegance. Along the exterior of the shank rests a subtle maker’s mark, believed to be “FT”.
