Georgian Old Cut Diamond Half Hoop

A beautiful old cut diamond half hoop ring. 

Tested as 15ct gold and silver topped.

7 old cut diamonds which were hand cut are set in foil backed settings. The silver collets melt into the diamonds.

The face of the ring spans 2.2cm.

Total carat weight is approximately 1.10cts.

Nice clean condition. Previously sized down. The foil has discoloured behind the stones so they appear darker than they are and therefore it’s impossible to give an accurate colour assessment. Original shank.

The ring is in good condition but we would advise care when worn as it is over 200 years old. 

Free of chips and scratches. Stones are secure in settings.
