Edwardian 18ct Gold 5 Stone Sapphire Ring

A striking five stone sapphire ring. 

This beautiful ring is set with bright blue sapphires that have been assessed as natural with no evidence of heat treatment. 

Circa 1910.

No hallmarks - tests as 18ct gold.

US size 6 3/4

4.3 grams.

The sapphires have a rich colour that is well matched across all the stones.

The ring spans 2.1cm across the finger and is 6mm from top to bottom at the widest point. 

Nice clean condition. Some of the small rose cut diamonds in between the sapphires have been lost over the last 100 years. Verbally assessed by the Gem and Pearl Lab london. A certificate can be provided but there is a three week wait time. The stones have some natural inclusions and some small areas of surface abrasion.
