Early 18th Century Emerald, Ruby, Pearl and Diamond Solid Gold Ring
The most incredible natural emerald ring.
This is a one off emerald ring possibly bought back from the Raj.
The bezel estimated to be early eighteenth century and set with a large central pear shaped emerald approximately 14x8mm.
The emerald is surrounded by alternating pearls and rubies, one pearl recently replaced, with a single diamond to the bottom.
On a later shank fully hallmarked for eighteen carat gold, Edinburgh marks, maker RJA, size R. 1988.

The panel looks like a Mughal piece, set with gemstones. The natural Emerald is not foil backed and has a wonderful green colour. Inclusions as normally expected with emeralds and minor age related scratches to surface. Pearls are worn in places.
All gemstones secure in settings.
The face of the ring is 23mm at it's longest point and 17mm at it's widest point.
