Antique 18ct Heart Locket

A lovely 18ct gold heart shaped locket set with an old cut diamond to the centre. 

Fully hallmarked for 18ct gold. Chester assay office and I believe the date letter to be 1918.

The gold has more of a rose than yellow colour.

9.1 grams 

2.6cm wide, 3.1cm height.

4.5mm depth. 

Diamond is approximately 0.07cts. 

The engine turned design to the front of the locket appears to be intentionally unsymmetrical.

Nice clean condition. Closes firmly and securely. Inner frames but no internal glass. Light scratches and age related marks.
