18ct Gold Victorian Snake Ring
A fantastic antique coiled snake ring dating from the Victorian period, bearing hallmarks for Birmingham assay office and the year 1884. The buttery 18 karat gold snake wraps around your finger three whole times, with its head meeting at the centre of the coiled band. Its set with a chunky and bright 0.75 carat old mine cushion cut diamond “brain”, with striking ruby eyes and a sneaky snake mouth. Its tail ends at a slim point at the other side of the band, and the piece itself remains in fantastic condition. Comes complete with a fitted antique box.
