18ct Gold Star Sapphire Ring

A beautiful 18ct gold ring set with a cabochon star sapphire. 

The natural sapphire has a lovely pale blue colour and is securely held in place by the 8 claw crown setting. The sapphire displays a star in most light conditions. The band is solid and chunky with a smooth and comfortable fit.

The sapphire is approximately 7.8mm in diameter.

Stamped and tested as 18ct gold. 

Lovely clean condition. Likely two separate rings that were joined to form the current ring. Age related patina to gold.
