15ct Early 19th Century Lyre Fob with Intaglio base

A wonderful antique fob/seal with an engraved intaglio base. 

Tested as 15ct gold.

Dating to the first half of the 19th Century circa 1830. 

The body of the piece is shaped like a lyre and tests as 15ct gold. It would make an interesting addition to a necklace stack or charm bracelet. 

The fob is 3.2cm tall and the intaglio base is 1.6x1.5cm. 

A nice solid piece with a weight of 7.3g. 

The base is a foil backed gem engraved with a gentleman’s profile.
