A lovely vintage compass on a sterling silver chain.
The wheel shaped compass with spokes and a star motif to the reverse.
The working compass dates to circa 1950-1960 and is made from gilded metal. The chain is modern.
Diameter of compass: 27mm
Chain is 44 cm in length end to end.
Condition: Nice clean condition. The chain is hallmarked for sterling silver. Light scratches across the surface of the piece. Wear to gilding on the spokes. Some dirt beneath the compass glass. Please see pictures.
