A wonderful pinchbeck Snake brooch.
Estimated to be from the mid 1800's is this wonderful entwined snake brooch. Sold to me as pinchbeck - it has beautiful scale detailing.
Approximately 45mm wide.
A large paste stone acts as the focal point of the piece.
Everyone who has seen this snake remarks how beautiful it is - the colour has not tarnished after over 100 years.
