A beautiful Elephant hair bangle dating to circa 1890.
Two strands of elephant hair are set with gold clasps in this minimal yet eye catching bangle. Popular during the Raj era, elephant hair was often collected and set into jewellery.
The crimps holding the hair together have been tested as 9ct gold.
The bangle has an internal diameter of 5.6cm
