A wonderful 18ct gold locket dating to the late 19th century.
The all original 18ct gold locket is set with a blue enamel plaque which is set with a silver diamond encrusted bird.
Small rose cut diamond stars are inset amongst the enamel.
The enamel is framed by a wreath of holly with enamelled leaves.
The back contains a fully working glazed locket with a small hook.
A substantial 34.3g in weight.
5.5cm in length and 4.6cm wide.
Tests as 18ct gold. Diamonds are nice and sparkly.
