This is a beautiful Victorian 15ct gold ring set with a stunning almandine garnet.
The almandine garnet is cushion cut and has a vivid rich colour with a great depth. It's quite an unusual cut and looks amazing in person.
UK Ring size M 1/2. USA ring size 6 1/4.
Stone is approximately 9x7mm.
The band has chased engraving along the shoulders.
Nice condition, sizing marks to the band. Please see pictures. The ring tests as 15ct gold (no hallmarks). The garnet has a small scratch on a facet underneath the stone. The stone was recently repolished.
