Limoges enamels are finely detailed and painted by hand. The process involves firing several layers of enamel over a base panel. Limoges is a region in France where this technique was mastered and became very popular. It is often viewed as the region which produces the highest quality enamel work.

Nice clean condition. No damage to the painting - the colours are vibrant. The signatures to the reverse are faint.
