The aquamarine measures 19mm by 16mm.
The aquamarine has a very unusual cut. It has a large facet at the top and then is faceted underneath the stone. This gives a wonderful chequerboard effect and the ring looks like an inviting pool of water.
Gold is not hallmarked but tested as 14ct.
Great clean condition. The aquamarine has 'rain' inclusions which are often present in aquas. There is also a tiny nick on the edge of one facet which can be seen in a zoomed up photo.
