A wonderful hanging monkey brooch in incredible condition.
Continental in style and dating to circa 1900 this monkey brooch is an eye catching piece of wearable art.
He has ruby eyes and is dangling from an exquisitely well crafted gold rope. The gold elements of the brooch test higher than 15ct gold and the monkey is made from silver.
The pearls are probably natural but untested.
The brooch 4.5cm wide and just under 4cm tall.
I can't see any hallmarks on the piece. Great clean condition (please see unedited pictures).
