A fine pinchbeck Georgian chain bracelet with a pinchbeck puffy heart padlock clasp.
The chain is circa 1820 and is covered in floral embossed work. It measures 19.5cm and when used with the padlock it will fit a wrist up to 22cm comfortably.
The chain weighs 26.5 grams and the padlock weighs 12.8g.
The padlock is 4.6cm in length and set with a blue stone resembling turquoise.
Pinchbeck is an alloy of copper and zinc invented in the 18th century to resemble gold.
Nice clean condition. The back of the padlock has some wear to the metal but this can be replated if required. The padlock is secure.
