A beautiful rose cut diamond ring in the Georgian style.
The ring is stamped with a Dutch oak leaf that dates it to the 1950s. It is constructed from silver and 14ct gold.
The central foil backed diamond is a large rose cut marquise diamond that spreads approximately 14 x 6.5mm.
It has a 3ct spread but has conservatively been estimated as 0.9-1ct as rose cuts are shallower than full cuts and therefore weigh less. The central diamond is surrounded by a halo of rose cut diamonds which spread to 0.60cts in total but likely weigh 0.3-0.40cts in total.
The diamond is approximately H/I colour and VS clarity but due to being foil backed it’s very difficult to accurately assess without removing the stone.
