An incredible Austrian Bangle circa 1870-1890 crafted from 14k gold.
Weighing 62 grams this substantial bangle has the letter G to the front which is set with seed pearls and surrounded by citrine stones. The bangle has a glazed locket insert to the inner of the bangle. Nice push clasp which is set flushly to the bangle.
The citrines are set in crown settings and are riveted to the piece.
Makers mark AM and the Austrain assay mark for Vienna, 14ct Gold (left facing fox head, with the initial a and the number 4). The piece was gilded to give a rich colour.

Condition:
The bangle is in nice condition. The clasp clicks shut securely and has a nice click. There are localised dings/light dents across the piece - none are particularly dramatic but mentioned for complete transparency. Light age related marks and scratches and rubbing to gilding across the piece - the pictures in the listing are unedited so please see them for an accurate representation. Seed pearls have some light wear. Citrine is in great condition.
