Reserved 19th Century Garnet and Diamond Ring


A lovely early 19th century three stone ring. Circa 1820. 

The central stone has been tested as a foil backed hessonite garnet and is set with an old cut diamond to either side. 

Tested as 15ct gold and silver. Ineligible assay mark to the reverse of the band.

The oval garnet is 10x8mm and the diamonds are approximately 0.08ct each. 

Nice clean condition. The garnet has been polished recently to remove age related scratches. Old sizing mark to the reverse of the band. Some wear to the setting edges but the stone is secure.
