A wonderful jewellery suite of glass scarab set jewellery dating to the 1950's.
The incredibly realistic scarabs are crafted from glass and were likely cast from real beetles - the level of detail is exceptional. They have an iridescence and shimmer that perfectly mimics real beetles.
The set comprises of a necklace, brooch and pair of earrings all set in gold tone metal.
This is the perfect compromise for anyone who loves the look of scarab jewellery but feels a bit squeamish at the thought of wearing real insects!
Each glass scarab is 1cm in length.
Necklace is approximately 40.5cm end to end.
The earrings are clip on.
Brooch is 35mm x 35mm.
Great clean condition. All scarabs are secure and in nice clean condition. A couple lightly rattle in their setting if pushed but are secure.
