A beautiful 1930's Platinum 3 Stone Diamond Ring.
The total carat weight is approximately 1.30 carats. The diamonds are old cuts and are set in white platinum.

Central stone:
Approx 0.70 carats, approximately 6.5mm wide. Slightly oval cushion shape. Estimated colour J-K, SI clarity.
Side stones:
Approx 0.33 carats each, approximately 4.2mm across. Approx H-I colour. One of the side stones does not have an open cutlet. SI clarity.
All stones have a close up photograph taken with a 30x magnifier.
Stones are in good condition with minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. The central stone does have more colour than the other two stones and this is clear when photographed in the lightbox. In natural light the diamonds appear more well matched.
The diamonds are old cuts with cutlets and have slightly irregular shapes. In the setting the mount is almost invisible and the diamonds melt into the platinum to create the shape of a bow tie or sweet.
The mount is unmarked but tested as platinum. Some scratches to the inner of the band. Overall condition great.
