Reserved 18ct Gold Victorian Mizpah Ring

A beautiful 18ct Gold band with raised letters spelling out MIZPAH. C.1890.

Mizpah is a biblical word and in the late 1800s was commonly used in jewellery to represent an emotional bond between two people who are apart.

The ring has softly worn over its history and has a wonderful buttery colour and smooth soft finish.

UK size O 1/2

US size 7 1/4

TJ makers mark which I believe is the london maker Thomas Johnson who operated out of London in the second half of the 19th century.
