The sapphire has a cabochon base and a faceted top suggesting it was an heirloom stone that was reset into a modern mount.
The sapphire been assessed as a natural Sri Lankan stone with evidence of heat treatment. The stone has an intense blue colour.
Sapphire is approximately 8 carats.
Total diamond weight estimated to be 0.60cts with G/H colour and VS/Si clarity.
The gold has a lovely satin finish.
