A late Victorian opal and diamond crescent brooch. Circa 1900.
The brooch is crafted from gold which is testing around 14ct gold (tested not marked).
The brooch is set with seven matching natural opals and 18 old cut diamonds.
6cm length. 6.4g.
The diamonds are well matched bright old cuts which total approximately 0.65cts in weight.
Approx SI clarity on average and H/I colour.
Nice clean condition. The two end opals both have small chips to the very edges of the stones - very hard to notice due to the colour play of the stones.
