Victorian Sapphire and Diamond Cross Pendant

A stunning pendant dating to the late 19th century set with pearls, rose cut diamonds and sapphires. The piece is in the renaissance revival style. The beautifully matched sapphires have been certified as natural unheated East African examples. The central rose cut diamond spreads approximately 1.10cts and all the diamonds spread approximately 3 carats in total.

 Age: Circa 1890

Weight: 11.30 grams

Materials: 18ct gold. Silver collets around the rose cut diamonds. Tested via xrf analysis.

Size: 4.8cm length including the bail.

Gemstones: Natural rose cut diamonds. The central rose fancy cut diamond is approximately 6.7x6.7mm. Natural unheated Sapphires with certification. Sapphires are approximately 4-4.5mm and 2.3mm deep. 

Condition: Nice clean condition. All of the stones are in good clean condition. A couple of the rose cut diamonds have darkened due to the close backed setting oxidising.
