Antique French Burmese Sapphire and Diamond Ring

£3,495.00 GBP

A stunning French sapphire and diamond ring dating to the Edwardian era. The central sapphire is a rich deep blue and is complete with an AGL certificate stating that it is 1.36 carats, Burmese in origin with no heat treatment. The ring is set with old diamonds around the sapphire and in the shoulders of the ring. A perfect example of Edwardian style - the attention to detail is wonderful with hand pierced settings and an elegant balanced design. There is a French eagle assay mark to the exterior of the band.
