reserved Late Georgian Diamond Earrings

A gorgeous pair of 19th century diamond set earrings dating to the end of the Georgian era. Each earring is crafted from 9ct gold and silver. We have restored the fittings to make them easier to wear. These would have originally had front to back ear wires but were altered to screw backs at some point in their history. We removed the screw backs and added 18ct gold stud posts with screw on backs for extra security. These glisten beautifully with a silvery sheen across the stones.

Age: Circa 1835

Weight: 10 grams (5 grams each).

Materials: Earrings are 9ct gold with silver on top. The fittings are 18ct gold.

Size: 5cm length.

Gemstones: Natural old cut and rose cut diamonds in closed back settings. Due to the closed settings it is difficult to accurately assess the colours, clarity and weights but we estimate a 1ct total weight and I/j colour with VS-si2 clarity.

Condition: Very good clean condition. Age-related patina and surface marks. Light nibbles to the edges of some diamonds but no visible chips or damage.

Free international shipping and will be sent gift boxed.
