A striking antique enamel locket. This sweet piece features a bow attached onto a disc with a Greek key border interspersed with pearls and an engine turned enamel design around a diamond studded star. The green guilloché is beautiful and typical of the Edwardian era. There is an empty locket to the reverse awaiting your own keepsake.

Condition: Nice clean condition. There are three tiny white speckles on the enamel around the star. I believe this is under the glaze. Small areas of the enamel have some tougher texture glaze (not noticeable without a loupe) suggesting a scratch or an earlier repair. The rose cut diamond is secure but has surface reaching inclusions and is discoloured. The locket is secure and intact.
